American militia generals

This is a category of general officers in the state militias of the United States, which is not the same thing as being a US Army general: see Category:United States Army generals for Army generals. Militia generals who also held rank in other organizations (such as the US Army, the Continental Army, and the Confederate Army) should also be included in the appropriate categories of those armies.
