Campbell Kelly, OBE, MC, GM, MM, was an intelligence officer in the British Army who was part of the "Cairo Gang" which was targeted for assassination on 21 November 1920 by the Irish Republican Army as one of the events planned by Michael Collins for Bloody Sunday. Kelly's medals were scheduled to be sold at auction in New York in January 2016 in a sale devoted to medals of the 1916 Easter Rising and the fight for Irish independence.[1]
