CD-class naval drifters were armed naval drifters built during World War I for the Royal Canadian Navy (CD stood for "Canadian Drifter"). 100 of these were ordered, numbered from CD 1 to CD 100. Of these, 37 were completed. Some were lent to the US Navy and Royal Navy during World War II.[1][2]
