The Black Sea Grain Initiative is a July 2022 deal brokered by Antonio Guterres and Recep Tayyip Erdogan that seeks to avert a global grain shortage in the future months, which may be the result of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine as the two warring parties go at it with hammer and tongs.[1][2][3][4][5]
