The Battle of Mayadin was a battle between Syria and The Islamic State in Mayadin, Syria. Mayadin was IS's de facto capital. The Syrian Army entered the city on October 6th, 2017 and on October 14th, 2017 it was fully captured by the Syrian Army.^[1]
