The Battle of Jolo is a military confrontation between the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) and the Government of the Philippines on February 1974 on Jolo, Sulu in southern Philippines. MNLF Forces managed to virtually control all of Sulu, except its airport and an adjacent military camp. Government Forces led by the 14th Infantry Battalion managed to regain control of the city.[2][3]
