Battle of Five Lamas

The Battle of Five Lamas was a battle in 1634 in which Ngawang Namgyal, the Zhabdrung Rinpoche, prevailed over the Tibetan and Bhutanese forces allied against him. As a result Bhutan was united, as today, into a single country.
