The Battle of Emmendingen was a battle at Emmendingen on the Elz river in what is now southern Germany. It was a battle of the War of the First Coalition, the first of the French Revolutionary Wars. It occurred on 19 October 1796 and constituted an Austrian victory over French Revolutionary forces.
