The Battle of Batočina was fought from 28 August 1689 to 29 August 1689,[1] near the city of Batočina in central Serbia, between the forces of the Ottoman Empire, and the forces of the Holy Roman Empire as part of the Great Turkish War.

On 29 August 1689 Serbian Militia under the command of Pavle Nestorović Deak as a vanguard unit of the Habsburg army was victorious against a vanguard unit of the Ottoman army during the Battle of Batočina.[2]

The Austrian army was victorious.
