Army Public School
Army Public School Auditorium, Peshawar
Army Public School and College (Urdu language: آرمی پبلک سکول اور کالج ) is an English Medium school in the Pakistani city of Peshawar. It is one of the 146 school campuses established and managed by the Pakistani Army's Army Public Schools & Colleges System.
It was established in 1992, and its student body grew within a two year span after its founding. It became a part of APSACS in 1994.[1]
Location[]
The school is located on Warsak Road in Peshawar.[2]
Grades[]
The school enrolls students from Grades 5 to Grades 12.
Activities[]
The school offers sports, debate, and journalism. In 2014 The Daily Mail wrote that the extracurricular programmes are popular with students.[1]
Attack[]
The school was attacked by Taliban terrorists on 16 December 2014. The attack killed more than 140 people including about 132 children.[2]
