Alexander Cannon (fl. late 17th century) was a colonel in the Jacobite forces in Scotland in the period immediately after the Glorious Revolution.

After John Graham, 1st Viscount of Dundee, was killed at the Battle of Killiecrankie, he assumed command of the Jacobite army. He was defeated at the Battle of Dunkeld and the Battle of Cromdale.
