The 2013 Iranian embassy bombing was a double suicide bombing in front Iranian embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, on 19 November 2013. The two suicide bombers killed 24 people and injured at least 146 others.

An al-Qaeda affiliate named the Abdullah Azzam Brigades has proclaimed responsibility for the attack.[1][2][3]

Iranian foreign ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham blamed Israel for the attack, calling it "an inhuman crime and spiteful act done by Zionists and their mercenaries."[4]
