The 149th Division is an infantry division of the People's Liberation Army. It was part of the People's Volunteer Army (Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) or Chinese Communist Forces (CCF)) during the Korean War with a standard strength of approximately 10,000 men. It was a component of the 50th Army, consisting of the 445th, 446th, and 447th Regiments.[1]
The formation is now part of the 13th Group Army in the Chengdu Military Region, as the 149th Motorised Infantry Division.[2] It is stationed as Leshan, Sichuan.
