The 10th Support Group (Regional) is the US Army senior operational headquarters on Okinawa providing command and control for all assigned US Army units and their families.
The 10th Support Group (Regional) and United States Army, Japan; conduct theater sustainment; execute reception, staging, onward movement (RSO); they also conduct expeditionary logistics in support of the US Army Pacific, overseas contingency operations and the defense of Japan.
The Group is the only brigade-level logistics headquarters in the Pacific Rim, supporting OEF, OIF, POLMIL, multi and bilateral partnership engagements.
The Group provides command and control (C2) to seven operational battalions and nine company sized elements. This headquarters is strategically postured to provide responsive logistics support throughout the Pacific, with elements on both mainland Japan and the Island of Okinawa.[1]
