L'École de formation des sous-officiers de l'armée de l'air is the training school for non-commissioned officers, recruited directly from the civil life, of the French Air Force. This training school aims to train tomorrow's task forces that will be quickly called to intervene in foreign theaters.

The campus is located at Air Base 721 Rochefort, south of Rochefort.

Largest military unit of the Poitou-Charentes region, the School annually provides military training to nearly 2,500 students and trainees, and technical training periods ranging from 1 day to 42 weeks. It also trains personnel of the French Navy and French Army.
